Single Defect Inspections
Got a problem with your property but don't know what's causing it?
We carry out targeted inspections to investigate specific concerns such as
damp, mould, cracking, leaks and other building defects.
We'll assess the issue, explain what we're able to identify during the inspection, and provide
clear, practical recommendations on what to do next.
For landlords, tenants and managing agents
Property problems can quickly become disputes. We can help establish whether an issue is likely to relate to the
building, maintenance, ventilation or occupant use, helping you understand what needs to happen next.
We regularly work with
landlords, tenants, freeholders, leaseholders and managing agents, providing an independent assessment of the problem.
Not sure whether you need a surveyor? Give us a call or email us. We're happy to have a chat and point you in the right direction.
Reinstatement Cost Assessments
Also known as 'Rebuild Valuations,' a reinstatement cost assessment is a careful calculation undertaken following a measured survey which produces a figure for how much it would cost you to rebuild your property from scratch. Why would you need to know this? These figures are used for building insurance purposes and an accurate figure will ensure your property is adequately insured.
The RICS and most insurance providers recommend a full reinstatement cost assessment is undertaken every three years with an adjustment made annually as necessary.
Whether you are a landlord, owner-occupier or freeholder of a block of flats we are confident that we can help ensure you are a properly protected in the event of an insured event occurring.
